footprints of life

if you look at the pictures…what do you see?  vast green land…? a beach…? serenity and peace…?

well… they are certainly nice pictures…taken by an amateur, but that fact only doesn’t reduce the sheer beauty of this sight…look closer…and you still see rubbles…of what used to be houses, beach club, swimming pool….and you saw toilets…bedrooms…or what was left out of them.

and you saw flashes of people who used to stay there….and you saw rubbles….and rubbles…

and yet the serenity is so overwhelming….peace be their souls…

even rubbles were beauty on their own…

from the land where the sunsets and skies are always breath-taking…

sometimes wishing that life could have been much easier…(and with no grudge against them…)…and so are the people…

but from time to time, (if i only had more time to do this…) i look up at the sky and..bless be the land, where each and every day the sky is so beautiful and clear, the sunsets so amazing and breath-taking…

hash in Lhok Nga beach, Banda Aceh.  pretty rewarding right? to sweat a bit, enjoy the scenery and get a breath taking sunset on the way home…

around August 17, this year, lotz of interesting things happened…

including being silly, and laugh about it…

it’s hard to imagine that tomorrow is another working day, and we must all get back to work, today doesn’t feel much like Monday, though, cos it’s another day off…

want to share some pics…missing fragments of the celebration that i haven’t seen for the last 6 years of my life.  felt so good to be there, and enjoy the moment.

ketika keinginan bertemu dengan kesempatan…dan kesempatan bertemu dengan perubahan…rupanya semua terlihat rumit dan sulit…

when desire colides with opportunities…and opportunities colide with changes…it seems that everything is complicated and difficult…
